@citrus_buddha: Thanks! I'm not familiar with that series; is it as widely read as Twilight?

Is anyone writing a series of YA books that promote feminist values? If not, I'd like to volunteer.

@roodles: "And she came into the game not being a victim of sexual abuse, drugs, poverty, etc but instead - to hear her tell it - b/c she just really liked sex."

@hortense: There seem to be many more where that came from. Guess I know how I'll be spending the next hour.

Joanna Angel is a friend of a friend, and I have only heard awesome things about her. Nice to see her mentioned here.

Well obviously it's the woman's fault for getting in the van. (Sarcasm.)

I've got a ticket to Ottawa with the worstie's name on it.

@deenaweena: Yeah, her nose does not look right. Of all the people to jack up with PhotoShop... Beyonce is so beautiful. What were they thinking?

@KittenFluff: Also, I am currently reading Lipstick Jungle. It's actually pretty good.

This is what I said last time we talked about DC. I was going to say the same thing again, so I'll just copy and paste:

I need someone to go see this with. I don't think anyone I know saw the first one. I'm a sucker for chick flicks.

@randomthoughts: I don't think a lot of women truly understand how sinister the GGW operation is. It seems like something where you just get drunk, flash your tits, and have a lot of guys cheer. At least, that was my impression of it when I was in college. No one expects to be sexually assaulted.
