Not quite. Just drawing the logical connection.
Not quite. Just drawing the logical connection.
This isn't just a hate group, these people are terrorists, and maybe if in the the future the US government treated them like the terrorists they are, we wouldn't see this as much and maybe we'd have a productive conversation.
Nobody gets my jokes...
It's worth it to keep going to therapy, even if you don't feel like you're getting anything out of it now. I'm assuming that you're going to a school service, which you should take advantage of because it's covered by your tuition. I used to think that group sessions weren't doing anything for me until a couple months…
So was it rape, or did I just get fucked without my consent?
I was joking.
My point was that in both of those situations, the men were only helped incidentally and tangentially. Would feminism ever focus on those issues if the man was the primary benefactor of those rights, and the woman was just 'also' helped?
What's the sidewalk analogy?
Aren't feminists the ones who are supposed to be espousing that worldview? Huh.
Looks like men are mentally deficient. Why are they being used more more than manual labor again?
You are an idiot.
Weird.

I'm not a woman of color, so I can't make that decision for them, but I do know that there are many women of color who reject feminism on that basis.
Feminism may be about equality, but its practical application only focuses on issues that affect women, not issues that affect men. If men just have to sit by and hope that their issues accidentally get solved through the application of feminism to women's problems, then it's not a very effective movement for getting…
I, as well as many feminists, simply believe otherwise; that men can be allies, but not feminists themselves.
Those are just my views on the issue. Even though I won't end up sharing my life with a women, I will continue to fight for feminist ideals because I believe it is right, but I feel it's disingenuous to call myself a feminist while doing so.
Woops.
