GREAT boxes this month! I just re-subscribed to Ipsy and Birchbox (BB is offering a free beauty blender if you do). I also am trying out Fortune Cookie Soap’s box for winter.

Ooooh, for $80 you could get the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit. I splurged on that and freaking love it.

I'm Rouge at Sephora (and Platinum at Ulta. I have problems). I like it for the sales, the events and the freebies. My store will put in about $20 worth of samples each time I go in, so that makes it somewhat worth it. I'm Rouge through 2016, and in 2017 I imagine my needs will be diminished, so I don't anticipate

When I first started wearing more bold lipstick colors I would dab it on lightly with my finger by kinda patting the lipstick on rather than swiping. It was my way of sticking my toes in the water. I like blue based colors as they make my teeth look white(r). Ruby Woo by Mac is a good one, too.

My friend was in Iraq shortly after the first war, and was cutting up celery for dinner. She cut off the leafy part and threw it in the trash. Her entire family was beyond shocked that she'd do that - that's good food. They even told her that they could probably live on what Americans throw away. That's always stuck

OH MY GOD. That reminds me of the first house I bought and sold. Carnival people and ALLLLL their relatives moved in. Seriously, that place barely fit the three of us, much less 15 people. They're still there and I don't wanna know what they've done with it.

I used to watch that. It was a good show. I’ve always wanted to have the owners of my house see what we did with it, and similarly wanted to see what the owners of my old house did. You make a lot of memories in your home.

I loved it too. I was much younger and had babies back then and it was a wonderful break from reality. I miss this type of show - and making fun of the crazy people on it.

My daughter was tested for Celiac some 16 years ago and the thought of having to adhere to that diet was a bit overwhelming. So I'm very glad that 1) more choices exist and 2) she didn't have it.

I'm a child of the 80s and that was like a major flashback. So much so that I bought them and realized they're probably too long for me. Still don't care. I'll wear them proudly because, oh my god, stirrups are practical for boots.

Ulta has something similar - three Stila glosses for $15. I don’t have an affiliation or anything, I’m just cheap.

That picture...*shudder* It's almost as bad as him.

Damn it. Now I'm crying again. I hope those folks that work in the hospitals know how much we appreciate it.

Thank you - I was genuinely confused.

Who does that??

Sort of on topic, but my 67 year old mom cut off her mom just the other day. She and my grandma had a VERY toxic relationship (it’s her stepmom, but the only one she’s ever known). My grandpa died just over a year ago and my grandma made sure my mom and her kids, including yours truly, got nothing. Do we care about

I know I need to read down but $50?!

Yes, exactly. We have decided that our young people are expendable.

Have I heard wrong? I thought you weren’t supposed to use the word ‘bear’ as they associate that word with food and will attack.

No, me either. But it's putting my already Christmas crazy brain into high gear.
