We don’t have many regrets at all. It does tug at my heartstrings a bit when I see a dad walking in the park with his little girl, or throwing a ball with his son. We do have plenty of friends who have kids, and a few nieces and nephews that we can borrow at any time though. So when we get “that itch” we take them for

My wife and I (happily married for 22 years in June) decided not to have children about 10 years ago. We would get asked frequently when we were having kids. Our response was “We’re practicing, we want to make sure we get it right! That usually shut them up.

I hope they are not using the data from the American Red Cross in their “testing positive” numbers.

Thanks for the concern. Blood work and body chemistry is spot on. I’ve been drinking this much water for 2 years now, no issues.

Awesome job on the weight loss! Keep up the good work.

Your body would adjust. This wasn’t an overnight thing. It was a gradual increase over time.

If Google is right, you converted correctly. I don’t feel that I use the restroom any more than what I would consider “normal”. I go every couple hours.

Well, water weighs 8.3 lbs per gallon. 2 gallons would be 16.6. Yep, you did math well.

Say what you want, water is important; especially for weight loss. When I was in high weight loss mode, I upped my water intake, and the weight was really falling off. I now regularly get close to 2 gallons a day, more if I am having a really active day.

I am in charge of our work lottery, so I always have a good stash of $1 bills on me (the gas station I purchase tickets from accepts credit card for lottery), and I use that as my pocket money. I usually have around $20 in $1 bills. Since we have “gentlemen’s clubs” right across the river, people look at me funny when

When we went to Cancun a few years back, we got learned a few things from books and from CDs we would play in the car. The very first full phrase each book or CD had on it was “donde este da bano”. Perhaps the most important phrase when visiting any place!

My company (rather large ~1000 employees nationwide) has a few accounts with Sharefile. I don’t know how many we have, but I know I have one. It’s very handy overall. One outstanding feature is you can put a link in your email signature that says “To send me a large file, click here” and it goes straight to a private

Just follow this advice.

Perfect timing. I tore my bicep in June, had surgery in July. I just got clearance from my orthopedic surgeon that I am not weight restricted any longer. I know the bench press doesn’t work the bicep, but I have been limited to 5 lbs on one arm. You know how difficult it is to put a heavy weight on one arm, and 5 lbs

I wonder this too. Also have a second question.

Taxes typically go up year to year, so you’ll end up paying more in taxes in year 30 than in year 1.

but it’s likely one of many messages that kid and every other kid receives as they grow up that heterosexuality is absolutely expected of them, even before they know who they are.

Did you miss the point that I don’t have a problem with YOU getting a flu shot? If you want to get one, I am not going to stop you from getting it. I think you should respect my choice as well.

To answer all the “why not” questions. I rarely get sick, I am a healthy middle-aged individual. I don’t see a need to get the flu shot that might or might not work anyway. Last year’s shot was a debacle, the company blatantly said that they got it wrong.

Thanks for the advice.
