Tomorrow Never Dies has one of my favorite movie openings with the criminal bazaar and Bond wrecking shop and hijacking the plane with the nuke on it.

If you don’t want to see Bond use the roof of his rocket sled to windsurf an arctic tidal wave caused by a glacier collapsing due to a satellite laser from space chasing him across the ice, do you even really want to see a Bond movie?

Maybe we should ask why gaming addiction is such a huge problem in China? I’m guessing the prevalence of gatcha games, the console ban (which clearly drew gamers to mobile), and the overall culture of pushing your kids to study non-stop so the little free time they have is spent sucked into a phone. I didn’t really know who Florence Pugh was before watching this, but damn, she was hilarious and insanely charismatic. I get why people were so stoked when it was announced she’d be in the movie. She was amazing.

Yeah, Civil War is an odd example to use being as it’s clearly set after Ant-Man (and all of Phase 2) and, as well as setting up the status quo of Phase 3, specifically sets up Spider-Man: Homecoming, Black Panther and Ant-Man and the Wasp (as well as Infinity War/Endgame of course).
