The last time I went all-in on a Gran Turismo game was GT4, and prior to that the original GT. I do play GT Sport once in a while, but often still wonder why the series doesn’t seem like a big deal for the genre anymore.

2021, and this game is still Hall of Fame material for me. It did a lot of things right, but the handling of cutscenes still kicks my ass. The attention to camera positioning, pacing, voice acting, and character face/body animation were just top notch. Watch how the characters’ eyes track things during conversations.
