What I want them to come out with is a Fruity Pebbles McFlurry mash-up. A Cocoa Pebbles version coinciding with it would be a one-two punch KO.

The last time I went all-in on a Gran Turismo game was GT4, and prior to that the original GT. I do play GT Sport once in a while, but often still wonder why the series doesn’t seem like a big deal for the genre anymore.

Pachinkos get all the monies thrown into their FMVs. I remember when a Macross pachinko machine came out a long time ago, with the show’s intro upgraded to CG. Someone grabbed it, and converted into a Robotech intro. Smoove stuff.

2021, and this game is still Hall of Fame material for me. It did a lot of things right, but the handling of cutscenes still kicks my ass. The attention to camera positioning, pacing, voice acting, and character face/body animation were just top notch. Watch how the characters’ eyes track things during conversations.

It just reaffirmed the observation that we live in a world where we are concerned about not seeing enough new games, that most of them are either too long or too short, and yet keep a pile of titles backlogged.

On my list of licensed games that I think are absolutely well-made, want to finish, but am too chickenshit to endure because it nails its source material to a fault, at the top it’s this fucking game. lol

I also used to totally do this pre-Covid, and intend to keep on doing it. Going to see films during peak times aggravated the shit out of me more often than I’d liked. People with their fucking relish/mustard hot dogs stinking up the place, along with noisy-ass candy wrappers. And this is on top of the usual bullshit…

Re: Trophies, It still seems strange that players are expected to re-do certain events to pop trophies they should have already earned. FFXIV recently had this as well when they added a ton of new PS5 trophies.
