Nice, the big text option was definitely needed.

Oh that bastard Slippy... Ha

My friends and I used to play one-hit kill modes wherever possible, like back in the GoldenEye/PD days. The stakes were high, and the pace was exciting. It was always a high noon, quick draw, one on one between four players. Good shit lol

I now automatically drop everything down to easy mode right off the bat. Unless it starts to feel “too” ridiculously easy, which at that point I’ll move it back up to normal. But in general, it’s not often that you’ll hear me complain that a game may have been too easy. They cram way too many other features outside of

I can barely make out that it’s Superman in that image. Who turned off the contrast settings?

Today’s HUDs feel like they were originally placeholders while their game was being developed, but then the devs ran out of time to inject any stylized creativity into them, and just rolled with what they had. Sterile AF.

It comes in handy during 1 vs 1 fights. I save it for the third phase of those battles to wrap things up quickly.

“We magpies may not be apex predators, but we can make sure those that are, we will fucking make their lives a living hell!”

I can relate to the hate. I have an equally dark hatred towards “adorbs” and “delish”.

No sexy co-op beach volleyball mode. Pass.

I’m interested in hearing how they will handle resuming the game. Is it going to be treated like an mmo expansion? Are they going to transfer our save data from part 1? Was the FFXV DLC a mini-exercise to see if it could be done for FFVII?

The underlying feeling is that it’s just another Unreal engine game. I wish devs would try to come up with a fresher approach than to just seemingly plug their project into a UE template and calling it a day. The only thing saving this game is the amount of effort they put in to emulating samurai story-telling.

Comic books continue their downward toilet spiral, i.e. Let’s deconstruct all the legitimate landmarks of the past, and fuck them all up because we can’t be creative enough to make new landmarks. Chew them up, spit them out, and then put them back in our mouths and shine a spotlight on them.

Since there are no wrong choices (everyone’s picks are legit), I’m just gonna agree with everybody, but throw my three cents in. Super Star Wars, Super Empire Strikes Back, and Super Return of the Jedi on SNES:

The nerds have been effectively distracted with this discussion. Now you can go ahead and steal their lunch money, Julie. They won’t notice a thing.

“EA is changing all in-game Redskins references, because the Redskins are changing their name. Back to you, Bob.”

So I’m a couple of days into this. Great stuff, but I feel like a lot of these open world games could try to make the missions in the gui less checklist-like. The to-do list fills up like an MMO grind. I guess back then, samurais had to have a photographic memory to remember all this shit.

Ultra Seven > Ultraman.

You friend-zoned the game. Just like I did. lol
