Thus, the genius of its design. Nintendo this gen really nailed the vision they’ve been trying to figure out for decades.

As someone who hasn’t picked up a Switch yet, I’d be down to pick this up until I get the normal model later. Because Breath of the Wild, and the fact that my PS4 and PC already eat up space next to my tv.

I supposed they figured out a reason for players to march to the entrance of the dungeons, since part of the larger tragedy of the duty finder was that most no one ever remembers what the entrances to them looked or felt like. So that’s a plus.

Man, that sounds so fun. Now I need a videogame port of it.

I’ll hop on the VR train once they figure out how to pull it off without requiring goggles. Headphones is one thing, but goggles is a no-go.

And Quake III Arena. That music used to get me pumped up even though I used to get slaughtered.

The FFXI OST was also frickin’ amazing.

Yeah, consequential-based games like that, and more recently RDR2, are insane. Sometimes it’s mind-blowing, but once in a while it would make me wish they would give me a break and throw me a damn bone. lol

Even as recently as something like the Uncharted games, pushing the gaming entertainment aspects aside, the globe-trotting for me isn’t so much about the fancy hd environmental renderings (lots of games can do that), but more about how the series tries to convincingly portray other cultures via body language, clothes,

Oh ok, so putting out benchmark software automagically lets them off the hook for any shortcomings. Got it.

The lack of hair sucks, and the lack of options feels really really bad.

Run PotD/Hoh from start to finish on unfamiliar jobs from 50-60-70. Blowing through each floor allows you to fine tune your button mapping so that they flow together. It’s also a good way to map your skills ahead of time in there, so that when your real levels are unlocked in the rest of the game, your hotbars are
