Yeah, most software companies here in the US build these streaming cloud-based products with the delusional assumption that everyone has a perfect universal connection speed, like electricity utilities. They think we are living in a broadband utopia, when its really still just a fucking post-apocalyptic wasteland with

I’ve just always settled on the fact that every FF game will have its own supporters and detractors. It’s not unexpected, since each one tries to re-invent what came before it. It’s a blessing and a curse unique to the FF series.

Thank you for shining a spotlight on this. Was wondering why VIII had seemed to be left out recently. Please keep pushing SE for an answer.

Yeah, that white spider is some real tacked-on nonsense. When it showed up, I raced from the start to replace it asap.

Yes, I knew all about the GF abilities, and other bs like farming Island of Hell with Quistis, yada yada yada.

Yeah, Quistis had her shit together for the most part. She was a lot more appealing to me, then and now.

Strangely, back then I remember liking the Selphie and Irvine dynamic a lot. Their chemistry seemed more natural than everyone else. I used to like pairing them up all the time in fights.

FFVIII also taught me another important life lesson. That constantly draining points out from other people, while being discouraged from casting my own spells so that I wouldn’t need to refill them, was boring af and a load of needless bullshit.

Man, I haaaAAAaaate that motion smoothing garbage. Makes me curious if this tech affects pricing, if any. If it does, then it needs to be kicked to the curb.

I think the question should be flipped the other way as well. To the people defending this new approach, if it’s “fine”, then okay... what characteristics would they define an art style that has precedence, like this She-Ra business, as being terrible? Would emulating the original have been bad? There are enough double

Damn, I guess my next playthrough is officially going to be a photo run. RIP hard drive storage space...

Playing this new Spider-Man game, it would occasionally hit me that they were really gunning for a level of quality up there with the Batman Arkhams and Uncharteds of the world, while adding a few more original ideas into the mix that could only be thought up by the Insomniac creative teams fueled by the sheer nature

The game is solid, but story-wise the ending felt disappointingly rushed and tacked on. The Batman Arkham games were kind of like that, too. What is up with that? Maybe they should have polished up the ending first during development, and then do the rest of the game afterward.

Sheriff Justice: That’s very comfortin’. But I’m in high speed pursuit! Don’t you hear good?

What I absolutely loved was not just the amazing ad libs from Gleason and Reynolds, not just the CB trucker slang that the movie exposed and turned into a national fad, not just elevating the Pontiac Trans Am Firebird into an icon, not just the crazy stunts, etc.

RIP. He gave us the free-driving Bandit for all eternity. All good.

They probably take photos and do a zillion unnecessary touch-up passes through Photoshop, until they barely resemble the source subjects/material. EW covers always make great examples on how NOT to use Photoshop.

Welcome to the next level, containing such features as: laugh tracks from unfunny sitcoms, pointless YouTube reaction audio from non-professionals, and Twitch suicidal aholes. Rejoice, for the future of interactive entertainment is here!

Titans. Where they utilize every possible resource to get Robin’s outfit correct so he can be the show’s poster boy, but then half-ass phone in all other aspects of the production.

I just learned that the game starts with the original, gets wrecked early during the story, and then gives the option of sticking with it or going with the white spider garbage. Pre-ordering also gives three insta-unlocks, one of which is the MCU Iron Spider outfit. So Insomniac smartly covered their bases (i.e.
