The FFXIV turnaround story is definitely one for the history books as a lesson to learn. I came on for the relaunch at beta 3, so it’s been fascinating playing up to now. It has had its ups and down, but I suppose it’s par for the course. At least it hasn’t been a total trainwreck like pre-ARR.

The show’s name is just too damn good to stop using it anyway.

One of the many cool things about GoldenEye the game was how they took the actual set floormaps from the movie’s production team. Anytime I saw the movie afterwards, it added a whole new layer knowing where ignored hallways and doors led to.

Yeah. And it’s been interesting that the CW-verse has been working in pulling in the top dog characters lately, which is pretty cool. I guess being able to bring in Superman tore down that barrier with their movie counterparts, while still having the freedom to also do lesser known characters.

The show has a large audience, although I still don’t understand why. I tend to see it as part of all the other Lorre shows and similar ones from others. Shows where if it gets played unrelentlessly on air, eventually people will laugh along with the laugh track. BBT, Two Men, Everybody loves Raymond, etc.
