Mike Brady was all about efficiency. The entire family shared one unseen toilet room off to the side in that hallway. He also allowed the children to use the bath shower when the lines got really bad after Alice’s special spicy burritos she served on Thursday nights.

Odd that amid this massive house, with all of its subsections and large master bedroom, Mike Brady would design it with only two bedrooms/three kids per room. And then make them share one bathroom. The boys room was so small, two of them had to bunkbed it. I mean, it helped with conveniently creating scenes but

I agree that it would’ve blown up, and maybe the outcome the same, but I think the thought here was that mayyybeee they could have waited at least a few more days just to see how it would escalate, to make it look like they gave it extra careful consideration.

Unlikely to happen, but if they did move her up I’d pay to see Benoist / Supergirl upgraded to movie-level quality. Visually, keeping the same design aesthetics, but punching them up with more expensive materials. Script-wise too, with the usual limitations of TV removed (cliffhangers before every commercial break,

I for one can’t wait until this topic spirals outward into every single press interview Marvel does for every movie, and see what kind of answers they come up with.

I’m gonna take up this one comment reply slot just to type:

Yeah no doubt, they are solid. It’s just the inconsistent writing that sticks out for me.

I still enjoy the reality of seeing a Supergirl tv show, especially when you have Benoist embodying what everyone kind of expects out of the character.

Yeah, Perlman wrote the initial draft. I don't think anyone denies that. However, when Gunn stepped in he gave it all a major overhaul. Character arcs, jokes, the Walkman music gimmick, etc were either changed or added by him.

Any one of us would easily tell Disney to f off from an insulted emotional level, but Gunn might be smarter than that if they asked him to come back. I doubt Disney would back-pedal, though.

Agreed. Like Kirk was a product of the 60's, Picard is a product of the 90's. He won’t be the same dude now, just like the changes we saw with movie Kirk.

It’s unfortunate that these houses can’t be protected by organizations like the Smithsonian as historical landmarks or something. There aren’t that many out there like the BB house. Although I suppose it would get pretty expensive buying out stuff like the Gilligan’s Island exterior locations.

Yeah. If Disney/Marvel thinks all they have to do is sit it out for awhile until the outrage fizzles out, they might be in for a rude awakening.

QA testing sure is a lost art nowadays, huh?

Nailed it. I thought I liked Tifa just for her tight shorts and punching the hell out of everything, but you just opened my eyes a little more.

The one scene that cracks me up EVERY SINGLE TIME is when Cloud, Tifa, and Barrett are above the Shinra meeting room in the airvent. Near the end, they overhear the woman say “Something stinks...”, and then they immediately ask each other “Do you think they meant Aeris?”

I think it was the first American-made show where even the title reference “Shogun” was actually pronounced correctly, as “sho-goon” instead of “sho-gun”.

Yeah, that was my thought as well. He should channel his energies into a different IP that would fit him instead of the other way around anyway.

This clip sums up the situation nicely.

I kind of doubt he would be brave or dumb enough to take over the reigns. He almost said as much when someone asked him awhile back if he would ever do a Star Wars film, and he expressed concern over how hard it must be with all the turnover firings that were going on.
