Spot on.

The weird thing about the Ant-Man trailers, and this also occured to me more when the first film was released, was that they don’t really lend themselves to hype. For the first film, they grabbed scenes that when out of the emotional context of the actual movie, seemed generic. I recall going to see it with a “eh why

Wonder Woman 2: Electric Booga— oh never mind. Worn-out joke.

Seriously, even google “1984 hit movies”. Look at that line-up!

Train heist? Yeah, that’s never been done before. Yawnnnn...

Yeah, Lando’s shtick on mispronouncing Han’s name was the best, and seems like it should have been the only thing in the movie in regards to the name-based jokes. The “Solo” and “Chewie” bits felt so unnecessary, kinda like the movie itself.

Possibly, but we need to keep in mind that Thanos without the gauntlet is still a pretty formidable dude. He was already destroying worlds and lives in a very intelligent, organized manner since forever. Not to mention that on a physical level, he casually beats guys like the Hulk and Thor into submission.

In my mind, there is the “pre-comment section”, and “post-comment section” era. While there were forums prior to blogs/websites where people close to whatever hobbies they were into at the time could communicate in the name o f “community”, those were mostly compartmentalized I think.

Great, you take a comment section already riddled with Star Wars-ignorant fucks, and top it off with a pic of Snyder. Thanks a lot. lol

So, was it not implied that Fett calculated that Han and Co. were headed to Bespin after they detached from the star destroyer in Empire, and that is how the Empire was able to cut a deal with Lando ahead of them?

I tend to associate Fett as being the antagonist opposite Han Solo. I mean, Fett’s biggest claim to fame was that he was the dude that caught Solo, with minimal dialogue. Instead of a Fett-only film, I would probably prefer to see a Solo sequel where they both share a common backstory, basically him being a pain in

I was hoping his outfit was going to be kinda like a Superman-ish, Thor-ish, 80's Flash Gordon-sh merged with Ordway mash-up thing. I mean, yeah the Shazam stories always had an intentional level of camp to them, which made them fun as hell, but as a modern movie I guess we’ll see how it turns out. Nowhere to go but

Horrible designs. I mean, real BAD. Do these artists even know what fashion design is? They must have friends there in the fashion industry to get some feedback, right? Right??

Ahh, the pre-Russo Brothers Winter Soldier era outfit. Thar suit has not aged well. I guess it’s cool that we’re seeing it repurposed for comedic purposes, but still... I wish Marvel would just pull a George Lucas and digitally replace it.

No, you haven’t considered the other alternative. Fix the game before actually releasing it.

I would really like Kotaku to run a modern comparison on console games pre- and post- patching/DLCing, because now to me the process has given devs too much of an open window to ship incomplete games, whether it be with content or bugs. This article seems to imply that it’s becoming the norm and that it is now

That Three Moon Wolf Tshirt, though...

DC powers-that-be: “Sales on our Superman IP dropped again. Let’s do something death-related.”

It’s annoying that people take offense to the show’s political leanings, whether it’s due to the show’s history or the batshit crazy remarks Roseanne does in the media.

I thought the opening scenes in the Stallone Dredd movie were great. He was pretty fucking intimidating when he wore the helmet, and Stallone played it to the hilt the way you’d imagine Dredd would be.
