I thought the opening scenes in the Stallone Dredd movie were great. He was pretty fucking intimidating when he wore the helmet, and Stallone played it to the hilt the way you’d imagine Dredd would be.

Yeah, I can echo what you’re saying. I felt the same way walking out of the theater. My impressions basically came down to:
I seriously doubt the writers and the Russo Bros would go the “it was all a dream, never happened” route. Obviously, we know most of them will return from wherever they went to, but it will be all about how it permanently affects the characters.
They are going to squeeze everything they can out of XV. It’s unusual, but it is kind of interesting to watch them treat it like an MMO in terms of updates and see how it goes. I would probably prefer this approach than cranking out XV-2, XV-3, etc.
They could try something like having the game keep a statistic(s) on what the player’s most played/least played characters/roles are, and then figure out some kind of algorithm that queues and combines people together based on those stats. The tendency for players switching in-game wouldn’t be entirely resolved, but…
Let me drop this gratuitous note of revelation for those who might not realize it yet. Whenever you see a business decision being made that does not make logical sense, it will usually be financially motivated.
Problem with the streaming community is there are no training classes, regulations, nor requirements in order to become one. Case in point: The latest ahole covered in this article.
Consumer gaming: Unproductive entertainment.
Wouldn’t it be an ironic kicker if, because of the events in Civil War, that everyone has to resort to wearing masks and changing their identities? Winter Soldier will be White Wolf, Black Widow is now Blonde Widow, Clint Ronin. Wanda TBD.
That’s my theory as well. After breaking out of imprisonment in Civil War, there must have been some consideration to the effect of:
I mean, it can’t be a coincidence that the only two MCU Avengers who have kids aren’t being shown in these trailers. That’s probably the one thing both of them can relate to each other. I bet the Russo brothers must have realized this too, and are setting up something cool that involves both of them.
On the bright side, at least this wasn’t another incident that took place in Florida.
Misaligned is the word I would use, too. If the upgrade turn-around time will render current gear obsolete in four months, then the dev team should change their player retention grind tactics so that players are able to gear up quickly and have time to enjoy it before the next patch comes and negates it.
Eureka is the latest culmination of every grind idea ever added into FFXIV. FATE/Diadem group-zerging, Atma-like drop rates, POTD/PVP-like enclosed leveling, scoffingly high tome-like amounts of loot turn-ins, with FFXI-like LFG chat spam.
I still prefer the old Nightwing/Batgirl relationship. For her to move on down the line to Robin seems off. If they played her as if she was Tim’s older sister role that would make more sense for me while still getting in the banter.
There are not enough sinkhole incidents there to maintain the proper circle of life balance.
If someone were to ask me to describe an example of unappealing makeup and costuming in a fantasy genre, that pic of Oprah would probably be one. What exactly is going on there? Is this really the image that the book depicts?
The great thing I always marvel at with the Arkham games, is that they serve as a shining example of how games can have an advantage over other forms of media that the Batman IP is used on. They easily surpass the comics, films, cartoons, everything, while still honoring them.
The plain and simple truth is, they are on top because everyone else has, and continues to, fail to provide good service.
