I don’t understand the assigned seating trend. No theater employee ever enforces the system. They just let people punch each other in the face whenever there is a dispute over stealing seats.

“After you adjust to the overwhelming amount of options, though, certain things start to stick out.”
Perhaps one day when replacing and upgrading old shows like DS9 reaches a point where cost and time won’t be an issue, we’ll see it happen. I don’t think it’s too far off from now, fortunately for us.
That General Martok, though. Coolest Klingon. That episode where he gave that speech to Worf about getting married was epic.
I would like to have both, please. Two great tastes that go great together.
Solid character, solid actor.
Amen.
Interesting take, fair enough. For me, I thought Kira was the best thing in the pilot episode. She was fiery but still not a complete bitch like Ro Laren.
I can see your point. I think the key milestones of the series were when Sisko went bald with the beard, the introduction of the Defiant, and then Worf joining the team. After that, all the needed pieces seemed to finally be in place, and then the show was finally running on all cylinders. Those final two seasons were…
I loved DS9. I have to say though, that Avery Brooks most of the time seemed out of his element as Sisko. His mannerisms at times were just awkward, and if it wasn’t for the studio surrounding him with solid actors and actresses, the show would’ve been on shakier ground. This is not to say he didn’t have some great…
The bleep that triggered a thousand comments.
Great analogy. It reminded me that in videogames, MMO’s have sort of the same issue. The game initially is enjoyable, then the grind begins for upgraded gear. It’s relevant for a few months, then the game releases a patch which resets the treadmill all over again in the never ending quest to keep up with the gear rat…
Marvel should create a new comic book division called “Why Not? Comics”. The modernized version of the “What If” series. At least then we would be willing to buy all this stuff more readily.
You are looking at this logically, which for comic books should never be an option.
Yes. Also, it’s interesting that there is a knee-jerk reaction against this labeling. Last I recall, people were all up in arms about companies nickel and diming them all the time. And yes, DLC categorically should be grouped in with this, too.
This is acceptable to me. I hate in-game transactions in any form with a passion, so this will make it easier to avoid purchasing games that support this bullshit. Hopefully, this will be what finally stomps the entire trend.
The super generic plain Arial font that show up in these ports make me feel like vomiting. It’s a deal breaker for me. It’s not like they aren’t capable, either. The font style in the mobile version of FFXV is excellent.
Well, I tend to think the reason there has been no Black Widow solo movie yet, is because out the gate Marvel wanted to establish the big three (Iron Man, Captain America, Thor). Signing the actors up for a three picture deal locked down their release scheduling. Then, factoring in the Avengers aspect, that’s a whole…
Well, DC doesn’t really have solid headlining black characters. Ambitiously, the best they can do is the John Stewart Green Lantern, and even then there is still that lingering reputation as being Hal Jordan’s ex-backup guy. Plus, John’s depiction in the JL animated series came off as a bullish ass most of the time.
And then coming at it from the other side, the movie asks the question, “Yes, that is the idealistic path, but did that path inadvertently cause some collateral damage along the way?” They achieved a paradise though isolationism, while allowing the world around them to battle it out for themselves, and in some cases…
