Exactly. The next time a CEO issues a press statement, try reading it as if you were a business shareholder, instead of a consumer, expecting a return on investment of some sort. It’s an eye-opener.

One of my bosses had connections to a few popular influencers to push our app. One of them, all she did was just fire off a glowing review to her followers (“just found out about this game! It’s cool! Check it out!” etc). And sure enough her followers (a fairly large crowd one at that) downloaded our app.

Yep. The ends justify the means for these types. On one hand, yeah the numbers help. On the other hand though, how does it affect the morale of the team to think they can’t legit get positive reviews for the work they’ve done? It’s a hell of an empty feeling for folks who actually care about what they produce. False

I’m not that surprised. It’s a sad practice that a LOT of devs, especially start-ups, tend to do whether it’s Steam, Apple’s App Store, Google Play. etc. To the higher-ups, it’s just another “marketing” method.

The approach I take with all this Rotten Tomatoes nonsense is I’ll maybe note the initial score, go see the movie, and if it matches the score, then fine. If it doesn’t, whether I think the score should have been higher or lower, that’s fine too and maybe note it for future reference if I am ever interested in their

I totally wish someone would resurrect the Super Star Wars SNES games, and then make new ones for the episodes that were never made during that era of gaming.

This is the problem that was foreseen years ago when consoles began incorporating the “release, then patch” practice from pc gaming. They can spin their funny production claims round and round all they want but a day one patch of this size is ridiculous.

lol this game. It seems like once a month, there is always some nutty idea players come up with.

“It could be worse... I could have blood gushing out of my nose.”

It’s a sad trend. I mean, okay let’s take the most passive fatass habit - watching tv - and then take it one step farther by watching OTHER people watch Tv (“see our reaction video!”). And then on top of this bullshit, let’s do it for videogames too!

There needs to be a regulatory system in place that prevents and filters out streaming dickwads like this guy. That any moron can join a community without a background check, behavior history check, and an understanding of ethics is getting old.

Now there’s a blast from the past. Wow.

The emu version was pretty nice. Graphically though, the skin “shading” on Vaan, etc looked even worse hi-deffed up. Like the characters never heard of showering before. Can you imagine what they must’ve smelled like? Peeyoo.

Nor sure if you already use it, but I use a pc app called DS4windows as the middle man. Works pretty well, although sometimes it takes a few attempts to get my bluetooth adapter to detect the controller. I never need to reinstall drivers, that’s for sure.

Why are people using Twitch in the first place? Worst trend ever.

Like the poster art for this movie, there’s just way too many characters crowding this film. There were a few points in the movie where it came close to undermining the focus between Rey and Kylo, which I would assume was meant to be the “A plot”.

Good move. Why this was greenlit and got so far into implementation is beyond insulting. Who are these so-called producers, directors, and GMs who let this shit happen in the first place? They should try using their brains instead of mindlessly saying yes to every corporate money-grabbing idea.

Star Wars needs more characters that have normal names, like “Luke”, “Ben”, etc. Getting real tired of people trying to come up with exotic sci-fi sounding bullshit. Add some Johns and some Janes already.

Do you know why there might be available apartments? Because given the opportunity, most folks would skip owning a little room to go for a house. Apartments are inferior and not worth it.
