Well the car would be constantly out of practise sessions for mechanical reasons. So it’s hard to be competitive when there is no time to get used to the car on track. And the times he has had that he finished in pretty respectably positions. So it’s hard to blame the driver for a shitty car.

I think he deserves at least another shot as he was also plugged by an unreliable car plagged with malfunctions. When it did run correctly he would run in the points. But it’s just be malfunction after malfunction or racing incident a lot of them where not his fault but some were also his fault. So it’s tough to say.…

Besides the Pontiac G5 at the time they actually had a pretty descent line up before they where axed. Solace was a great little car, G6 was okay, Grand prix GTX finally went rear wheel drive and a LS2 engine in it and a 6speed optional. Then the GTO I loved that car just a damn shame it wasn’t available in Canada…
