I don’t recall folks asking for Google either. Alta Vista was awesome. No one asked for the iPhone. BlackBerry and Nokia were killing it.
Fortunately for humanity and Tesla, these cars are nearly 100% software. Which logs everything it does. So, when people claim silly things, it is easy to verify and call BS (or initiate a giant coverup). But, Tesla seems smart enough to know that cover ups of data don’t work in 2016. I’m sure we’ll see this guy…
