It’s possible to jump into OW solo. If you’re not very good, you will get lumped with other similarly skilled players where you can get the hang of characters and make ups. If you are pretty good to start, i think you will learn from experience pretty quickly about what comps or tactics work.

I don’t think I realized how great the witcher 3's animations were until i read this article. I guess seeing the animations just felt natural and didn’t seem out of place (unless someone’s hair, clothing or whatever goes through their bodies or that kind of thing). Good on Projekt Red!
