I was thinking this. I do marathons and half marathons but I’ve never done one of these themed/schtick events because I assumed they were just be-seen and get a lot-of-Instagram-likes fodder. This pretty much confirms that. That said, if they encourage people to get out and be active then I’m all for that.
I recall learning about several religions in public school. We learned about Christianity/Catholicism/Judaism, and also about Islam, Buddhism and Sikhism. The difference was come December, we only had Christmas parties.
