You know, if Diane wanted to do something to apologize to Britney, now is a good time to do it! Maybe share how that interview got set up in the first place??

All I can really say is thank you for the writeup, Ashley. She was wonderful and a tremendous force and her loss will be felt.

Notably, Miss World America, a for-profit pageant, does not provide scholarship money or salaries for their winners.

A fellow PR person cosigns this. Or, like, just DON’T go on Howard Stern in the first place.

RIP bell hooks

About a week ago, when Alec Baldwin gave that incredibly tone-deaf interview following the shooting on the Rust set, another commenter and I joked about creating a PR firm whose main strategy was a roll of duct tape to keep these people from walking into such easily avoidable problems. Let’s not forget when he accepted his Oscar for “Argo”, he announced to the world how much work his marriage was.

#MeToo and fourth wave feminism are incompatible with beauty pagents. Keyword: beauty.

I think the best change we can hope for is an end to pageants. You’re funny.

Fringe medicine? He’s well on the way to murder a la ex-doctor Andrew Wakefield and Jenny McCarthy.

South Dakota ranks almost last in terms of education quality - though I know little of the metric there.

I’m a SD native and this shit just breaks my heart. I mean, it could/would/probably does happen in every state but I hear firsthand from friends who are teachers about how bad it’s getting at school board meetings

as with most stuff like this in conservative/Republican/GQP states, the inhumanity or cruelty is the point. How many state legislators must have laughed at these idiots with their book learning and communist ideas scrambling for a few bucks like hungry dogs scrambling for food. As this country further polarizes itself
