I encourage people to buy Apple stuff for the build quality and ease of use and minimal stress. Over the long run that more expensive iMac will be cheaper to own that your PC. After 8 yrs the power supply on mine finally went out. PC friends have had to replace their machines at minimum twice in that same time frame.
