They should have been rebadging Opels the whole time.

Not elder Gen X as I am in my early 40's but 100% remember leaded gas, and pull tab soda cans lol.  There is like what 2 whole generations that don’t even know WHY it’s called unleaded gas.

As a boomer, all I can say to you is get used to it.

As a frequent user of Right on Red, begrudgingly I agree.

Depending on where you live, $100k a year is living paycheck to paycheck. I live in SoCal on that salary, and owning a house is basically a pipe dream. It’s to the point where my wife, son, and I are going to move in with her sister to save up and have a manufactured home built. Luckily my in-laws own an acre lot that

Considering automakers killed off all their subcompacts (and compacts, and some all cars), it’s not surprising that average prices swelled from $36k to $47k.  Oh, and killing off the cheap cars happened during Trumps reign. So if conservatives cared about prices, they would’ve complained then.

I do need a better Axe. This one is sharp though

Just going to slide in here and agree with everything above.  I don’t see how the economy has any room at all to grow.  Most people are hunkered down in “survival mode” and discretionary spending is just something I speak of fondly about in terms of “yesteryear”.

The older I get and the more I see people do stupid shit, the more I appreciate laws like no right turn on red. If 1 in 100 drivers are incapable of safely making a right turn, it’s still too many and will eventually result in unnecessary accidents.

As a Gen X’er that turned 50 this year putting elder in front of that hurts!

Now that guy has an axe to grind.  He’d better get to it.

He could possibly be an elder Gen X’er....mid 50s. Some of them got into the lead paint/gas.

If he doesn’t like a sign he can just ignore it like every other super special entitled antisocial asshole does.

Yeah, seriously.  Especially Yield signs.  Those might as well say “go ahead and good luck to everyone else.”

Right-on-red was introduced in the 1970s as a fuel saving measure. That time has long since passed, with hybrid powertrains and stop-start systems doing more to reduce idling, emissions, and fuel consumption.

You’d almost think that sign was painted rainbow colors at how offended he was of it. 😆 Besides, since when does a sign stop someone from doing whatever the hell they want to anyway?

Ditto. I spend more time in my 124 than my C7. It’s great with the top down, easy to drive and park and gets way better fuel economy. Not to mention, it’s the best manual transmission I’ve ever owned.

Honestly, this may be a hot take, but I think it’d get old after a while. How many 0-60 pulls can you manage on your way to work?

The 124 has an FCA 1.4 turbo engine and the Miata NC transmission (apparently the ND tranny couldn’t handle the turbo). Other than that is is mechanically identical to the ND Miata.

The Saturn Sky Redline, sure, but the Solstice? The Solstice Coupe?
