Every time I hear Fisker’s I think of the brand of scissors

Clarkson, Hammond, and May definitely made the show, but Top Gear was first and foremost a show about cars.  That’s what I think was missing about Top Gear USA.  All they did were challenges.  And bickering.

Of course, I can’t say about the new Camry, but in 2022, I ended up with a Camry SE and a Rav4 XLE as rentals.

As silly as Hammond, Clarkson, and May would get, outside of Hammond’s crashes (which were genuine freak accidents) it does seem like they were always incredibly safety conscious where possible. They’d poke fun at the “producers” and “the lawers” and whatnot if there was something they absolutely couldn’t do, but it

I love cars, just as I’m sure other readers here do, so I gave all the Top Gear iterations a watch. And...they were just always so meh compared to the Top Gear—the one starring Clarkson, Hammond, and May. And let’s face facts: it wasn’t the car reviews and stunts that truly made the show—it was the hosts’ constant

Regarding Fisker’s issues, all I see is an utter rerun of the auto industry at the turn of the 20th century. All those startups back then looking to cash in on the exploding ICE-V market, which consolidated to some players just a few decades later—ultimately the Big Three by mid-century.

U haul rents trucks for those exceedingly rare moments in your life you’ll ever, ever need a truck.

better city planning too.  not having most of the housing fucking miles away from the places people work would save everyone a ton of time.

As a local they were not interested in getting any buy in from the locals. This is part of why people weren’t enthused about F1.

much smoother and more satisfying to do everything with the gas

Some people swear by it. It’s a little more nuanced. Tesla doesn’t use blended-braking, so in a Tesla, if you use the brake pedals, you are 100% bona-fide turning energy into heat. In order to keep their efficiency and range ratings top-of-the-pack, Tesla doesn’t allow drivers to adjust their regen at all.

Nice strawman argument. Most people weren’t bitching about the actual race, because how could they? Not sure if you’re pretending to be dense or really don’t know...

Yeah, if event traffic and problems and crowds enrage you, maybe Vegas isn’t the best place for you.

It will be less interesting next year, as the teams and drivers will have more data and experience.

After the amount of shit the track has received from Reddit and Jalopnik, this race was actually one of the best of the season, including the race circuits. 99 overtakes, including an actual close fight P1-P3.

For me, the Las Vegas grand prix was one of the best of the year. The circuit was *much* more interesting than it appeared schematically and in pre-race pictures.

Cool story bro.

People on here constantly rag on VAG group, but they really know how to make great performance cars while differentiating the branding.
I would never buy this because I’m a Porsche guy, yet I’m happy because I know a Porsche version will be coming.

Nice. Too expensive for me but whoever gets one will probably be happy

I’ll bet on at least three restarts and a shit load of complaining, what are he odds on that?
