In Maine, you can’t get a dealer license without having one. Though nothing says you have to allow a customer anywhere near it.

The concept doesn’t have a trunk or hatch. If something like this actually hits the market with a liftback count me in.
I like all of it pretty much but that fucking interior is nails! Finally someone who wants to do something different (if it gets made and the interior stay similar that is)
If a production car actually looks that good and drives well, I almost don’t care about the price. If it’s less than six figures, I am interested.
Want to see a shady dealer squirm? "Can we put it on a lift?" Is a good start. Follow it up with "hang on, let me grab my code reader". I've had a few salesman sweating this way, and some outright deny even having a lift.
Depends on if there are pre payment penalties on the loan or not. If not, then there’s almost no interest paid within the first payment cycle.
That’s absolutely not how loans work.
I don’t know if this may be true in specific circumstances, but it’s never been true on any car loan I’ve had. I’ve paid off multiple car loans early, and I’ve only ever paid the remaining principle.
1st Gear: I don’t think it’s just an ‘EV slowdown’. I suspect it’s more of a general auto industry slowdown given that plenty of ICE vehicles are also piling up on dealer lots:
“Now, GM bosses have warned that the demands of the union are too great and could be “devastating” for jobs at the American automaker.”
IT’S FUNNY, when you spend decades hollowing out the middle class and ensuring wages continue lagging behind inflation - you find there are less customers for your wares.
Well, he needs a solution that doesn’t impede his ability to become the world’s first gazillionaire.
And outside take - he has to push the return to office narrative because he wants to sell more cars. If people work from home, the need to replace gas car will decrease because it doesn’t matter if you only get 15 mpg if you only use your car for quick around town errands and on weekends. With most EVs generating a…
Apparently Melon commented that workers who wanted to work-from-home “gave off Marie Antoinette vibes” and were “detached from reality” - which is 1) almost as rich as he is, and 2) more than a bit self-serving given his demands on his own workers, and the direct connection between workers having to commute to work…
Musk said on a post-earnings call where he also talked about “paycheck-to-paycheck” pressures on American workers.
The maintenance aspect of home ownership is definitely a bummer. I’ve even accepted “I don’t want this job” quotes, and contractors STILL won’t come out.
Boggles my mind that Tesla hasn’t shitcanned that monstrosity project yet. Well, I guess it’s not THAT suprising considering it’s Musk calling the shots.
But there’s absolutely no way they will ever recover the research and development costs they sunk into that thing.
The demand that was generated when it was a new…
At least you have a “the maintenance guy” and you don’t have to call a dozen contractors who give you “I don’t want a small job” prices, and then have to hire two separate people at the going cost of a whole new bathroom - one to fix the leak and the other to fix the ceiling - who will both do half of their half of the…
I will never recover financial from this year in games.
