The Zuckerberg Senate hearing was a pretty big inciting moment where normal people caught on that most of big tech is either sociopathic, or has no idea what they are doing. Or both.

I think progressives (which I think most of this site’s writing staff is or tries to be) has more or less turned on silicon valley because its become evident that, at best, silicon valley is just as morally bankrupt as any established company in whatever industry they are trying to “disrupt.” At worse, they are…
As noted early in the post, Tesla already has a giant battery in Australia, and I haven’t seen any reports that it isn’t doing exactly what was expected. I don’t think anybody cares about panel gaps on battery cases.
The biggest problem with Silicon Valley “disruptions” is that these people think they are the smartest people in the country when often they don’t know shit about what they are doing.
Except not really. They can’t run current cars on their track for development. They can only run 2 year old vehicles as homologated, they can’t “mule” them into modern vehicles, unless its for approved tire tests.
It is time to blank sheet the F1 rules.
My starting point would be smaller cars (like .75 scale in LxW) and keep all body work from between the tires, make open wheel open wheel again.
Limit the fuel, raise the minimum weigh and let the teams do what they want under the skirts.
Many in f1 desperately want to reduce costs, and now someone from ferrari -who effectively hold f1 to ransom- agrees?
The fia needs to get over there RIGHT NOW and make a deal!!Break every road rule imaginable if it helps! Nothing is more important than having ferrari on side!!

If they had that big tobacco money sponsoring them, I doubt he’d complain.
As a SpaceX employee and a father of 3 (soon to be 4) daughters, I’m really excited to see Hayley chosen for this trip. People like Hayley are taking paving the way for a future where it isn’t an unusual newsworthy thing that a woman or person with different health needs are able to go to space. My daughters have…
Ferrari junior understands perfectly. I think you are the one who doesn’t understand what he is talking about.
As an engineer I love seeing advancement of technology, but this does seem on point that how many millions of dollars are we spending for a minuscule advancement that does not make the racing better, and everyone else figures it out eventually so you have to keep doing it. As a broader society there has to be a better…
Before Arceneaux, SpaceX had only sent one other woman to the moon.
We have to start somewhere with sending non-fit, non-healthy, non-traditional bodies, and so on into space. Hopefully, this will be a real beginning for that.
That’s pretty cool, and I’m happy for her. As someone with a physical issue, myself, I recognize the importance of this boundary that she is breaking. Good for her!
For the passengers’ sake, and for the hope that flights like these will become an affordable reality, I sincerely hope it goes well and the flight will be a success. Given the precedent of this capsule’s success, there is every indication it should :)
This is the correct take. Urkali’s colors are green/red/white.
Yeah, not buying HAAS’ half haas-ed story about the livery. There’s been lively debate on other sites over this, but I hope WADA/F1 come down hard on this.
I can think of nothing more apt and ironic these days than an American team being bought and paid for by the Russians while they install a puppet driver that also enjoys grabbing women but suffers no consequences.
