A chip foundry is a significantly different beast than an auto factory. If they want to make chips, it will be cheaper to build a new building (unless they plan to bulldoze Lordstown and build new, meaning they got the entire thing for a song).

There’s one key difference between the two - McLaren actually produces and sells a product and has a viable business.
It’s a homage to Master Chief’s helmet.
Or better yet, you get an extra lane or two for someone to decide they need to cut across ALL the lanes to make their exit at the last minute, causing even more issues.
I think he’s high on his own farts again.
I’d argue that the non-union plants the cars are coming from are not from the traditional big 2.5.
All of the transplants that have set up shop here (usually) focus more on brand quality over quick, short term profits, and have groups that focus on correcting quality issues instead of kicking that can down the road…
Sort of - with the car stuck in drive, it won’t be nearly as easy to push off the road as you are now fighting against the engine and transmission since they are engaged together. Much better than park, but not easy by any means.
They’ve been exploring hydrogen for far longer than BEVs, and here we are. I don’t see hydrogen becoming a better option for anyone other than the manufacturers who don’t want to have to drastically change everything in the near term.
I was going to say the same thing - with the issues with the Bolt line, Honda has to be second guessing that contract they signed now.
Need isn’t the correct way of looking at it. Want is the better way, especially once you’ve fought with car seats in a two door hatchback (did this for two kids), and then move into a larger, four door vehicle of any type that makes getting said children in and out considerably easier and faster.
$10 x how many games over the lifetime of the console? That starts adding up in a hurry.
You’re correct though - this definitely makes the Xbox look like a better option if you plan to upgrade, and AAA titles for the Series X will be $10 cheaper (at retail) on release.
They don’t. That’s like saying I need a different version of any game on my PC because I switched from a normal spinning hard drive to a SSD. The games for the PS5 are programmed on a PC. There is no hardware reason that the game should cost more for the PS5 over the PS4 other than they can do it.
It comes down to if there’s an app/data that is the cause, and you restore it in the state it was in, the problem comes back with it.
If gas prices go up, we will see automakers shift quickly to EVs, which should bring the prices down over time, similar to when gas prices spiked and automakers rushed to get more fuel efficient vehicles on dealer lots.
Agreed - the dealership I had bought my 19 3 hatchback at, and then traded it for a CX-5 this year seems to have no problem moving them lately (Mazda 3 hatchbacks), especially the turbo versions of the car. Right now they have three new hatchbacks listed (2 on the lot, 1 in transit). When I bought mine in 2019, they…
I’d rather see Mick Schumacher go to Alpha than Bottas, but it sounds like it is a done deal.
This for sure - I don’t see Mercedes wanting another Rosberg/Hamilton era, even though it was highly entertaining. Russell will give Hamilton a run for his money in an equal car, if they let him.
What about oil and drive train maintenance that doesn’t exist on an EV? Did you factor that in (not saying this particular example of an EV by Mazda makes any sense, but a hybrid adds complexity)?
There’s also Ford’s recent reliability record. No way I’d touch much of their products outside of the Mach-E at this point,…
The Mazda dealership I have bought my last two Mazdas (and my wife’s, so that’s three) is the same way. Zero pressure, friendly, and even the finance department was not pushy. They offer you GAP and different warranty options, but if you say no they don’t push it. They accept and move on with the rest of the process.
