This CA law makes a ton of common sense. Something often lacking in many government functions.

Only the Midwesterners get this one.

You are correct. The fact that it's an empty lot, with a permanent fence (no gate), makes people think it's fine. I agree with another commenter that the tow company is in cahoots with the owner of the property to split the proceeds of this. Living in a city, if I see an abandoned lot, driveway cutout, but a permanent

Great minds- I was thinking Passat (much bigger back seat than CC).

Because sport is about competing against like-people. You have to draw a line somewhere. It is unfortunate for these individuals, but there is plenty of proof from the other intersex athlete from South Africa. She broke records, but when she took meds to reduce her unnaturally high testosterone to levels acceptable by

You sure about that? Texas just passed a law to make their citizens freer than ever, joining the wackos in half the other states

Yup. I have to live with 7 other owners in my condo in my city. Every now and then I do wish to be in the burbs, then I read shit like this.

These are the most comfy socks ever. I have run thousands of miles in those socks (ok not the same pair the whole time! Lol).

You can be pulled over on any NJ highway for failing to keep right and pass left. They put the signs up and down every highway here. So yes, you can get a ticket for driving the speed limit on the turnpike. If only people followed them as religiously as in Germany. I was stuck behind a guy doing 63 on Rt 78 yesterday,

Lights on sends cars slamming on the brakes, swerving suddenly into the next lane to get our of the way. This is dangerous. Doing 90mph on the highway allows the cops to catch up to speeders and patrol more of the road.

Exactly. And I dont care that they drive that fast. If they want to do 90mph safely, and therefore can cover more ground, catch up to speeders doing 85 in a 55mph work zone, or scan more of the road to find people tailgating, weaving, whatever, I am fine with that. A cop who does the speed limit just slows everyone

These schools aren’t cheap, but right now Lucas Oil is charging half of what Skip Barber charges, in an effort to make some inroads in the business (giving a free seat to Jalopnik helps too!)

The backgrounds vary in these. I did Skip Barber and this school in the video. Barber was road cars, this was small race cars. Definitely very different experiences.

It was $3000 for the first incident, $6000 every incident thereafter. Lucas Oil doesn’t offer extra insurance to lower the deductibles like Skip Barber offers.

Yes that top photo seems about right.

Great pics too!

Hey Mike- I bet after this week at NJMP you have a new appreciation for these drivers in their full Nomex suits on a hot day! I sure do!

No stick? No long term value. At least until the millennials are 65 years old and wealthy since apparently they can't or don't care about driving a manual.

I would star you again for the “strategery” mention if I could.

Yup.
