She’s a creep; she’s a weirdo
Bingo. When you have that talent under contract you damn well use it. But her and Aubrey Plaza on screen at once may be too much, at least for a TV....
This. I think a lot of people loved her and her character that Marvel wanted to bring her back. The problem is how to you bring back Agatha. My only issue is that Marvel keeps doing these “in the past” type movies and shows. For example, Black Widow took place in the past after Civil War. Now I believe that Agatha…
Lukewarm take: Comic-Con was a lot better when it wasn’t just studios doing sneak peeks at upcoming TV shows and movies. All that other stuff can still happen and folks who attend Comic-Con this year will discover it’s still plenty of fun.
It got off to a slow start for me - Dal was spectacularly annoying but as the series went on it was clear that this to give him a place to develop from, and he grew as a character over time. It’s been the biggest pleasant surprise of the current-era Trek shows for me.
Supposedly Pike was a very good test pilot and gave a speech while he was one (that’s before he was assigned to a ship, timeline-wise), so that makes sense in context.
Some non-canon sources say he was born in 2205, making him 54 or 55. He would have been fairly early in his career when he gave that speech, so maybe it was a guest lecture or something?
Curious where you read that. I don’t doubt it, just want to read up on it myself -- my immediate reaction to this was “I hope it can replicate chicken thighs, not just the breasts.” Americans are obsessed with the blandest part of the bird.
It says a lot about our fucked up tax laws that it is cheaper for companies to make a show like this or Snowpiercer or Batwoman and never release it than it is to just release it. Especially when we are in the middle of a writers strike and the pool of new content has to be drying up.
Bigtime. This article is about a distinctly 80s topic with hardly any representation.
The ideal Chuck Norris game? Conan O’Brien’s Walker, Texas Ranger Lever Simulator
If you’ve seen Jaws: The Revenge then you’re ahead of (behind?) Michael Caine and he’s one of the co-stars of it!
If there’s one silver lining, it’s that an implosion would have been a quick death and they wouldn’t have suffered like they would if they suffocated.
There have been so many characters with even a tangential connection to Spider-Man that they could have gone with and they decided this guy would draw in the crowds. What’s next I wonder, a young Norman Osborn and his rivalry with Uncle Ben in high school?
He’s a Spanish-lamguage musical artist. That’s all I know. But apparently he’s getting big and trying to get into movies. He was in Bullet Train earlier this year.
I think we can all agree that Bad Bunny’s small role in the hit Bullet Train proved that he can carry an F-list Spider-Man villain movie that doesn’t feature Spider-Man.
Yeah, but when has that ever stopped Sony? Just release it two or three times. It’ll find its audience.
Sill waiting for that moment when Sony realizes they have nothing left to squeeze from the Spider-Man IP, and hand it over to Disney.
Yeah, this is a smart move on their part because even the Spider-Man fans were saying “Who?”
