The first two seasons are the best, though there's one mediocre and vaguely racist episode (The Blind Banker, IIRC). The Third season isn't quite as good, the special is divisive, and the fourth season is shit.

I'd have to think about it, to be honest. I think its pilot was significantly better than Rick and Morty's (to be fair, I think R&M's pilot is, by far, its weakest episode), but I'm not so sure about the rest of the season. I will say it's better at telling a single story.

Matt Smith's first season is widely considered one of the strongest seasons of the revived show. If you didn't like it, you probably won't like any of Moffat's run.

I can't wait to see the strong first and second season (aside from an episode or two), the weaker third, followed by a divisive special and a festering bag of shit for the fourth season.

The Good Place had the best first season of any comedy I've seen since at least Arrested Development.
