Except for the whole filling positions in places of need thing. Hey, I get it. There could be a defense that the ineptitude of the rest of the administration hamstrung him, but nah. I don’t buy it.

When I was younger, (child of the 80s), I knew that the real position in government with power and money was Senator. Fuck being a Representative or President, Senator was the ultimate.

When do we sit here in judgement of them and say they are on the grift? I used to think it was primarily vanity as a motivation, but more so I’m thinking they all just want to raise a buttload of money and never actually run.

That reason is why I liked that it is Arya as witness to the atrocities. Her thoughts now are, “I saved the world from Death itself, and this bitch goes and slaughters innocents.”

People waste money all the time, especially on frivolous shit. Target and Walmart are full of products that are low priced but poorly built - if the average consumer spent more on a better product than they would get more value for their money...

The catch with that though is to “save” the money. There’s no real harm spending a few bucks a month on the lottery as long as you don’t think you’ll win. I go to the casino and gamble a preset amount - my goal is to be entertained and drink for free. Winning money is a bonus but not the end all.

I desperately want Cory or Kamala to lead the ticket, but I legit think Cory would be an awesome president. I love Bernie’s ideas and I want him to stick around to keep a progressive bent moving forward, but I do not think this country will elect a jewish grandpa president - ever.
