Yes, but people do it. The entire two-year period in my late 30s that I spent trying to get pregnant (before adopting, which is a much better idea, IMO), I was all into being healthy, etc. So I think there is such a thing as “prepping” yourself to get pregnant - or maybe more like trying to stack all the health cards…

My current obsession/depression over the state of the planet causes me to wonder...will the mega-rich, i.e a baby from R & her man, be as vulnerable as, say, the offspring of my two pregnant nieces...or will they be protected in some safe, climate-controlled bubble... 

Depends on the person. I eat the same breakfast pretty much everyday and the same lunch most days. I will changes things up on the weekend some but I enjoy the consistency and not having to think much.

Living below your means is one thing. Eating the exact same thing every day... is that really living?

This is spot on. I live the life I want, save a lot (wife and I max out 401Ks) and am careful with money. Frugality is a tool we use, not a life style.

I admit that I’m annoyed by people who eat on transit (irrationally so; I have weird issues about hearing people eat thanks to misophonia, too) but I can’t IMAGINE doing something like this; if it’s getting to me, I get up and move. Life goes on.

That is extremely poor and short-sighted thinking.  Helping alumni find good jobs seeds them in the world where they can in turn help fellow alumni get jobs.

My wife went back to this office at OSU days after graduating and was told they couldn’t help her bc she was no longer a student. She had been there a week or two before graduating and they didn’t bother to mention this condition at that time. True quality.
