My Rx-8 has a Moonroof and I love it. As a former Miata owner, I appreciate open-air driving and a Moonroof is a good alternative when you need a more practical (and non-convertible) car. It really brightens the cabin as well. Mine’s 10 years old and doesn’t leak.

I think one reason for the popularity of SUVs is that kids can’t be left to get places on their own anymore. It used to be if I had baseball practice, or I missed the bus, or just wanted to, I would take my bike where I needed to go. Now kids have to be limo’d (along with all their friends, hello 3rd-row) everywhere.

I have to imagine every inch of that garage is covered in camera and motion sensors and secure doors so they must have a list of suspects right now.

The “car” doesn’t seem to be safe to operate anywhere except a golf club.

Isn’t it a privilege and not a right to operate a motor vehicle (3-4k lb object that can move at 100 MPH or more) on public roads? Doesn’t that count for anything?
