Again the issue is Consent, When you Accept a Ride with Uber, You’re CONSENTING to their Terms of Service, California Require ALL parties to consent, and by Accepting the TOS he gave consent. Federal Law only Requires 1 Party. meaning the driver. He is Safe there.
