spent 2 weeks in Bali, LOVED it. was with someone who was born and raised there though so I may have avoided some of the reasons you say that by being with a local

My two favs have been Peru and Indonesia, Machu Picchu and the Amazon was awesome, and it was a special trip I took with my brother, Indo is gorgeous, dirt cheap (once you're there) and has amazing surf

Peru is very similar, with the added plus of having Machu Picchu. Mountains, Beach, Amazon Jungle all relatively close to each other.

yeah, trying to go to these fast track schools that say "get a great job and diploma in half the time", you wanted a shortcut to success, didn't do the research and now it's everyone else's fault. you said in your original statement, try this fast track school for web design, didn't work, try this fast track school

almost positive you meant 6 figure job. and really dude, that's kinda what you get for trying to "fast track" everything.

I think it would depend HIGHLY on what you do, there aren't many professions in which you can stay in the same position for 10 years and it still be challenging, and I would think if you are consistently being promoted that would not look bad to prospective employers when looking to change. I know I would definitely

unless you can navigate to the app and start playing video via the fingerprint scanner I don't see how this would improve video quality or eliminate smears from finger swipes, you still have to swipe across the screen to get to stuff

"one of the biggest we know of in the solar system"

PBR is award-winning beer!! and not just the blue ribbon, it won a gold medal in 2008

yeah, that is not a sabbatical, then this article is BS as the VERY FIRST SENTENCE is "...to take a 2 year break". which is entirely different than quitting to blog full time.

the author ignores the scariest part of all of this, for me. what do you do when you get back?

plus the author was doing "just because" meaning there really was no urgency, could have taken your time, really planned it. moving ANYWHERE adds stress, doing it "just because" and picking a date because you "were gonna be there anyway" and then complaining about the process is ridiculous

I dont like it, using on a windows machine and it is not that different than just RDP'ing into the machine, the advantage to RDP is I can zoom in on anything on the screen, where as with parallels you can only zoom if the app supports it and then only IN the window so I can't zoom in on say the menu bar in chrome.

so I can ditch this last stubborn pound a half by moving to peru instead of diet and exercise? thank you science!

this whole light at the end of the tunnel thing is obviously only told by people who don't die, otherwise they would be dead and we'd never hear of it at all, so what does that mean? baby being born is DOA??

but XO you can almost make out a nipple

if humans have been around for less than 250,000 years, and the earth is 4.5 billion years old then relative to a 24 hour day we've been here for around 4.8 seconds, no where near a minute...

description in the title is exactly how I've described myself for years.....well minus the "le" in the third word

funny how this still surprises us, relative to the rest of the universe our solar system is TINY and we know very little about it which means we know pretty much nothing about what goes on out there. EVERYTHING we know about EVERYTHING is likely wrong.
