Danny recites a Tibetan Buddhist prayer before they eat, which he didn't do before eating the sub Big Al gave him. He's also cited Buddhist sayings and used a Buddhist mantra while meditating. So they must teach Buddhist philosophy in K'un Lun.

You thought I was asleep, didn't you?

How did I catch it? I watched the scene and heard the dialogue?

It would be great if Rand is bankrupt in Defenders and Sigourney Weaver's character steps in to buy it.

You know, it's incredibly petty and shortsighted for Danny to want his company back. He has no business experience. He has no business education. As far as we know, he only has a 5th grade education. And he's going to take over a multi-billion dollar company that employs thousands of people and does business with who

But they are drawing a lot of influences from those cultures and traditions. Danny quotes Buddhist philosophy. He cites Buddhist mantra. The people in K'un Lun dressed like Shaolin monks. The training they go through is very much like what Shaolin monks go through.

Except that's what the show was going for. Yes, technically, you could say that it was mainly drawing from Shaolin and Tibetan traditions but it was trying to do a fusion of different Asian cultures. There are times when Danny uses the mandarin pronunciation for words but sometimes he uses Tibetan pronunciation.

He also called the kids, which included two black kids, monkeys. Yes, it was unintentional and he didn't mean insult but come on, how did they not catch that?

The writers definitely needed to do more research. Monks don't just learn one thing. Shaolin monks don't just learn martial arts. They have a pretty eclectic education. They learn art, literary, religion, and philosophy. They have debates and discussions. They learn discipline but they still relax and have fun. They

The scientist who designs the beetle drone is voiced by Chris Parnell

He's just enjoying nature while it still exists.

Probably because they barely bothered to do any research and any mentions of Asian culture is just the most generic stuff you would find on a wikipedia search.

And we also find out that the Hand didn't know K'un Lun was unguarded until Danny revealed that he was the Iron Fist. And now they know it's vulnerable. So, he messed up royally.

If he had also yelled, "I cheered in the streets when the Chitauri invaded and I am the Mandarin!" That would have made it much more believable.

They establish in this episode that Danny has a forged passport. So it's not like he magically teleported from K'un Lun to New York. He had to get there by traveling thousands of miles, going through various countries. He had to have somehow earned enough money or favors to get that passport, or somehow steal and

Since they've pretty much confirmed Professor X, I wonder if the X-Men exist in Legion or if the show is connected to any of the movies.

Shadow Queen

The sequel will be much better than the first Suicide Squad because it'll just be the team watching the "Task Force X" episode of Justice League 5 times in a row.

It's an altarnaughtive spellying.

They were only on the road for about 1/3rd of the movie. I'd like to see a full 2 hour movie where they're on a road trip and get into various hijinks.
