It's a shame they couldn't blend the Tekken controls as well. I heard somewhere that there will be a Tekken X Street Fighter (other way around) game that will utilize Tekken controls. Nonetheless, I'm glad that I'm witnessing the merging of the two most iconic fighters in our era. It's truly something EPIC!

@kyleshark: Nope! As Satchwar pointed out, it takes place after Super Metroid. In the commercial, there's a scene where you see Baby Metroid getting shot by Mother Brain protecting Samus from which we could only assume that the events of Super Metroid have already taken place.
