Hey, the director’s description sounds pretty cool. I want to see that movie. This one, though... I dunno. It fails to introduce these characters in a meaningful way or give us much of a sense of who they are. We never get a glimpse of their history or even find out that they are brothers, so I had a hard time

Holy shit, a hijab is not a burka. It’s worn by millions of women worldwide as an expression of modesty—and no, it is not legally required for most of them.

They’re doing that... over on regular Deadspin. The Concourse is essentially a politics sub-blog now, so asking them not to write about politics is silly. And since it’s the closest thing us Gawker.com refugees have to the glory days of old... please don’t deny us this little concession. We need these scalding hot

Okay, but what if he gets so bored he just pulls a Dubya and lets his ultra-religious nutjob of a Vice President run the county for 4-8 years? Or worse *shudder* Rudy Giuliani? Is that what we want? Somebody cheer this man up, dammit!

This just confirms my theory that while time travel will eventually be invented, we will only be able to use it to go forward.

Yes, definitely blame the millennials. Not the millions and millions of old white farts that voted for this fuck

And yet, people from Spain speak Spanish and people from Russia speak Russian. Sometimes, the names of languages are in fact based on their countries of origin.

While this doesn’t really apply to a non-domesticated bee like this one, it turns out that the whole “colony collapse disorder” in domesticated honey bee populations has sort of been overstated. Yes, it’s probably a result of environmental contaminants such as neonicotinoid pesticides—but remember that commercialized

The bump in 2008 was due to the recession. Margarine is cheaper.

Because the vast majority of smokers people are assholes and don’t give a damn about anyone else.

I’m a straight man so I’m not sure I can gauge the sexiness bit, but go and watch The Night Manager and then try to tell me he can’t play a glamorous Bond-esque spy perfectly. That role is the reason he's even being discussed here. He just absolutely nails the suave, debonair, well-dressed spy thing.

I still own it in Uplay, but fucking Ubisoft’s cloud lost my saves and I have to start over :(

Yeah, I enjoyed AC4. I never got to finish it and the plot seemed much more throwaway, but it was light-hearted and fun.

I’m sure it was fine gameplay-wise, if more of the same. But I was actually really into the story of the first few games. I heard “Desmond dies at the end” and “it’s incoherent” about AC3's plot, so I didn't pick it up. This is the first time I've seen the ending, and it looks like they were right.

Wow, what a load of nonsense. I really enjoyed AC1 and AC2, but I never got around to playing AC3. I'm glad I didn't waste my time.

Ron Wyden has consistently been on the right side of digital privacy issues for several years. There’s basically no other senator who thinks as he does, however, and most fall about as far on the other side of the authoritarian spectrum as possible. He frequently makes valiant attempts to right these kinds of abuses

Bad comment.

Again, which MacBook are you actually referring to? On the “MacBook”, yeah, absolutely. It’s got a Core M. The 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro has a low-powered part, but still much beefier than the MacBook. They’re also claiming 12 hours of battery life for the 13-inch Pro. The 15-inch Pro gets 9 hours and the top-tier

You’re confusing the MacBook Pro and the “MacBook”. The Pro Retina has two USB ports and two thunderbolt ports, and the latest refresh is absolutely as powerful as this machine.
