You could at least include the actual number that it went up over the last 30 year average. Which was a difference of .46 degrees, and also point out that it is down from .5 in 1971-2000. But nah, climate crisis.

Considering the fact that they state $15,000 is a lot of money, especially in a state like California. Are you really surprised?
Can’t wait to go see this in theaters !
If you actually read anything about the remake, you wouldn’t be making that comment. They aren’t changing anything about the game other than giving it a facelift, networking and a few small quality of life updates.
Sometimes two are better than one.
You got called a boot licker for using common sense. Just came here to say this. Damn common sense using boot licker.
I think this is the point I was trying to make though. Yes the director probably does have the control and you’re obviously the expert because I don’t work in the industry. But I think what I was getting at is, and correct me if I’m wrong, there is someone above the director for ‘xyz’ game you are developing correct?…
and that’s ok. I never said these practices are ok. There’s a trickle down effect, these practices don’t start or stop at the directors. They come from other people making decisions saying get it done by XYZ date, with this much money, with this many people. Again, to my point, there are aspects of this that there are…
It’s not so much that they have little or total control. There’s a trickle down effect, these practices don’t start or stop at the directors. They come from other people making decisions saying get it done by XYZ date, with this much money, with this many people. Again, to my point, there are aspects of this that…
Hey and I get that. I’m not saying your situation does not apply or doesn’t matter, in any way. There will always be something better, and you are 100% correct that its not somebody else’s job to look out for you and that applies to many aspects of life. It’s without a doubt that the field is competitive and there…
I replied this to someone below and I am going to paste it here as well. The reality is that there will always be something better out there and that’s obviously a fact. It’s also not so easy to just pick up and go somewhere “better or different” and that shows how much of a naïve take you have on the world if you…
The point is, some of these people are just doing their job whether they like it or not. Lets not take the little recognition they deserve over some things that they have little to no control over. Keep licking that boot though.
Hard to believe considering even the Director only has so much control over whether or not there will be crunch. This falls entirely on studio management rather than how the game was directed. Crunch doesn’t come from the director. Crunch comes from trying to meet stupid deadlines set by management that has a terrible…
Terrible take and extremely insensitive to the people who didn’t have a choice but to work their ass off or take the high road and risk not getting a job. This comes off as “hard work shouldn’t be awarded because you worked too hard” I’m sure if were a developer and a game whos success I contributed too was rewarded,…
I literally addressed that they should have included the warning regardless. It’s in the first sentence of my 3rd paragraph, but way to dance around what I wrote. People just love to look for anything to lay blame on except for themselves.
Came here hoping someone in this comment section had this much common sense. A little faith in humanity has been restored. Is there no responsibility on the person playing the game who suffers from epilepsy, playing video games, that for YEARS, have been known to possibly induce epileptic seizures?
Congress makes these decisions, not the president, and congress can also overrule a presidents veto. It’s amazing how many people don’t have a basic understanding of how our government works. You’re so focused on the trump hate train you refuse to see that senators and house reps are just as much part of the problem…
I think you missed my point. Idc who’s stealing office supplies but context matters here. If the survey question asks if you’ve witnessed misconduct, and that misconduct is taking office supplies, and you answer yes, did you not answer the question truthfully?
If we went by your logic, everyone who took a pen home from the office should be fired or reprimanded.
Exactly. Misconduct can literally be, taking printer paper home from the office when you shouldn’t. While yes it may constitute stealing work place items, it’s really not that serious. Without context there’s no way to know what constitutes workplace misconduct.
