I don’t feel like I ever seen anyone complaining about a team taking a 7 point lead to 14. It’s when teams are taking 30 point leads to 37 point leads with 2 minutes left that it’s a little eye-rolly, but on the other hand, whatever.

That’s a bullshit call. All I saw was someone pulling on the guy’s jersey and he’s like “Get the fuck off of me” and then realizes it’s a ref and stops. There was no ALTERCATION to speak of and no reason for a flag.

Is it normal for refs to grab players by the jersey and drag them away from someone they’re just yelling at? I thought it had to be an actual fight for the refs to get physically involved.

Honestly the bad hits he took weren’t supermanning over the line of scrimmage but in the backfield being a normal QB. It is right to question the fairness of his treatment there.

This is entirely besides the point, but a gameplay violation (grounding) should NEVER be offset by a personal foul. It’s complete bullshit, and it logically conveys that a game penalty is just as bad as a personal penalty, which is the opposite of what the NFL pretends to care about.

If you didn’t see the whole video then you missed the part where he put several arrows through chain mail with the narrator saying it would also go through most armor at the time.
