One of the core fundamentals is to acknowledge what your skeletons are and then work to improve/correct those deficiencies.

I call it being the best version of yourself.

Be bold and just ask the person out. Being yourself is 100% key in all aspects of your life. Don't be afraid of who you are. You must simply perceive yourself as being a catch and anyone who doesn't see that is missing out on the great and awesome person that you are.

The best way is to go right up to her and ask her out. That's it.

I get what you are saying, but look around. Men are way more into technology than women. I don't see anyone complaining about a lack of men in the manequiring business.

Then more women need to come forward and get into the field. Also you cannot just hire a woman just for the sake of it. If she is not as qualified as 5 other guys who applied then too bad so sad. Equal pay and equal work also demands equal experience and equal qualification.
