I disagree as it started to falter with reach and the introduction of armor abilities which where in essence your class. Halo 4 just built on that and they went in a different direction in Halo 5. Also the weapons you described only were a with in warzone and from what I see people loved that variety.

Stop reminding me Halo came out 20 years ago. I remember of stepping on the halo ring and each time after still gives me a sense of wonder. No other game has been able to do that.

Hers the thing, Halo doesn’t need destructible environments. Its an arena shooter that requires more skill than CoD will ever need.

Lets not forget MMO retention doesnt stay. SWTOR had an influx and they panicked and added servers then the game started to die and now they are down to like 4 us servers and 2 oceanic servers.
