Just catching up on this episode late, but your point here:
Sure, that totally makes sense. I guess it’s because she’s tried to do it a few times already in a handful of episodes, but that she’s shocked the kids are in danger when there are people following her or Kryptonians being reincarnated.
I guess I can chalk it up to the fact she’s a bit cocky with Superman having her…
Manchin got primaried in 2018 and beat his progressive opponent, Paula Jean Swearingen, by 40 points. Manchin is the best you are going to get in West Virginia.
Reception to General Lane frustrates me a little bit, because I think he’s easily one of the show’s most interesting characters.
If the secondhand radiation of the synthetic kryptonite gas is potent enough to seriously harm Jordan, Lois & Jonathan should’ve been dead from Clark exhaling at them. Unless this is another Batwoman scenario were the writers don’t know the difference between a poison & a pathogen.
Sooo... was that frozen snot Jordan first sneezed? I couldn’t stop thinking about that for the rest of the episode, lol! A humorous storyline about him catching a cold is so teenager, and just the kind of levity I think this show could use from time to time. But of course it had to become an emergency, and I feel the…
Halk Kar in Superman #80 and Mon-El in Superboy #89 both *thought* they were Superman’s brother. They were space explorers that wore red suits with blue capes, landed on Krypton but were told by Jor-El to leave before the planet blew up and how to get to Earth, and arrived on Earth after Kal-El but with amnesia so Kal…
This show is killing it. I haven’t felt this absorbed in an ongoing Arrowverse storyline since maybe the last stretch of Arrow season 5 with the escalating Prometheus stuff. Another jaw-dropping twist/cliffhanger tonight. Really hoping they can maintain this momentum in season 2.
I knew Kyle wasn’t lasting the season, but him getting possessed sealed the deal. I am surprised Edge apparently let Lana off easy. Or it could be he is saving that trump card for later.
I’m going to dissect this bullshit one bit at a time:
I love how the article tries to insinuate that it was terrible that she took a week to respond to this manufactured controversy. Y’all ought to be ashamed of yourselves.
I like the cut of your jib! Especially the notion that Evil Superman was Good Superman until his personality was overwritten - that’s a neat idea.
Yet another great episode. Tulloch was stellar. I suppose I could agree that the turn-around time from JHI was a little short, but on the other hand I don’t want every arc to be some picture-perfect storybook balanced-obligated script. Some will take awhile, others can be brief, and even some can be just little rando a…
I’m calling it now. Morgan Edge is going to be revealed as Zod.
This show has felt very unArrowverse like and I think that’s for the better. Because if they tried to pull a story like Lois’s on one of the other shows it would have probably been really hokey and melodramatic feeling instead of genuinely affecting like it was here.
While this event sounds like some serious True Detective Season 1-shit, I’m equally sure that the elites who surrounded Kemper as a child wouldn’t exactly have been telling her: “Hey, d’you want to join our racist parade to help take back the public stage from populist demands for social and economic justice and…
Oh man, you didn’t check in to see how this insane stretch of a nothing-burger was getting roasted over at The Root? Cause it’s getting no traction there, and it feels like their readership should know.
“The look of pure admiration on Clark’s face after Lois reveals her plan is a perfect celebration of her impressive investigative skills.”
For me Black Lightning would have remained excellent if they could have kept Jill Scott for more episodes. Her villain turn was the highlight of the first season and I was so happy to have her back last year that I forgave that season quite a bit of nonsense.
