This is exactly what happened to me aswell ! And then I was totally in awe at the first episode. The funny thing is I saw the trailer once, and didn’t like it at all ... But after Cloverfield Paradox (which I liked a lot), the flow was perfect. Very clever, Netflix !

It’s how brains 2.0 work now : explore an overwhelming amount of informations and find precisely the meaning they want, without much a need for a hint. Altered Carbon narrative (and Netflix shows in general) is more engaging, and I like it.
