I often wonder : did science-fiction predict the future ? Or did the future inspire itself from science-fiction ?

I tended to agree about this aswell, but I eventually started to think it’s more than that.
Wait till the australian fauna start playing video games !
Lijiang Tower for me ! It’s simple, varied, beautiful lights, allows tons of strategies spread across the 3 stages, solid control points for defensive comps, sideways for flankers, aerial space for Pharah, big walls to cover, pits for environmental kills near control points, short respawns, entire alternate battle…
Purple is life, purple is love.
I took it the same as the science in Interstellar, i.e a fictional science :) (as in science fiction)
The standardizing machine will call it trash, the sci-fi enthusiast will call it loveable ;)
This is exactly what happened to me aswell ! And then I was totally in awe at the first episode. The funny thing is I saw the trailer once, and didn’t like it at all ... But after Cloverfield Paradox (which I liked a lot), the flow was perfect. Very clever, Netflix !
It’s how brains 2.0 work now : explore an overwhelming amount of informations and find precisely the meaning they want, without much a need for a hint. Altered Carbon narrative (and Netflix shows in general) is more engaging, and I like it.
Or maybe, Netflix’s target audience is not people who need a big, flashy advertisement shoveled down their eyes to guess what they could like ?
Also, having a mastered roster of at least 2 heroes per role (there are 4 roles) is mandatory for anyone who wants to climb in rank.
I see, that could explain such numbers :/
That’s an insane number ... 1.5 million people prefering to get an unfair advantage just for the sake of winning ? Is victory really a true victory if it’s rigged ? What’s the point, besides not being able to git gud ?
That video is beautiful .... thanks for sharing <3
On tactician mode, my friends and I only had to play the reload game at the first 5-6 levels. Then you get stuff, you start to see the breaches, and it’s all tactics and glory. It’s not that hard when you care to think a bit about every situation, every element you can use, every spell you can equip, and every combo.…
Those Divinity : OS 2 moments :
* In the last city of Arx, which is gigantic and full of hidden sidequests, I see there’s this last remaining house on the map. By the time we’re all max level (at least for the story), kinda max geared. While we’re on tactician mode (the most difficult), we’ve been having less and less…
With how DBFZ managed to scenarize story mode pretty well, I’d be mad for a Hokuto No Ken ... !
I think the sexism battle won’t be over until offended males start blaming the watchers, rather than the girls showing. Or in a wider spectrum, the audience rather than the source. It’s bugging me how popular it has always been to accept a weak mind from the consumers rather than from the producer. Because it’s easier…
The PC lineup is so depressing ... what’s happening ? My friends and I keep searching for exciting (long) titles in 2018, and there’s barely nothing announced ... Are studios starting to hit the evergrowing budget cost limit we’ve all been warned about ?
In that logic, you mean your girlfriend would be glad to hear you yell “you can suck my d*ck” whenever you’re arguing ? Doesn’t it feel at least a bit off ?
