YES.
YES.
That first video sequence ... can't go without reminding the good old "Stink Bomb" anime :>
On the interwebz :p
(France, Paris actually)
Ah, sorry I wrote it quite lightheartedly. It's just that I can see it absolutely everywhere *__*
Ladies and gents, may I remind you the hipsters version of duck face : the Fingerstache. They've simply been everywhere for too long now, please kill it with fire.
Slightly off-topic : could Kotaku possibly make a light investigation about current state of the Rift ? Like where it's at, how things are going, etc, or even better : an on-site interview. Would be awesome :)
(which makes me think, Kotaku doesn't do a lot of on-site interviews in general, could be a great addition to…
Talented voice actor is talented. Although, I wish general Joker voice-overs were departing from the clownesque style, to some more Heath Ledger's real psychopath feel.
I can't understand how some people over the net are angry about not having some sort of looking glass on Watterson. And I'm pretty sure that if he didn't explicitly want his life to remain private, they wouldn't "need" it that badly. Get along with it, the guy doesn't want to expose his life for a reason (that you…
If they can't do anything about it, well they can't do anything about it. So, it's better to warn than do nothing.
Fighting games are way more than just replicating button sequences. There's a counter for each move too, with a panel of good / bad reactions in each situation, and each decision has to be made between 50 and 500 ms at high level. They do have strategy aswell, as you have to plan 10 moves forward to trap your opponent…
Like a hella lot of niche games, actually :) (fighting games come to mind first)
Must be one with the Trickster :D
Very nice ! Thanks !
I didn't want to troll the article, but that's what came to mind. I smiled when the trailer gloriously displayed "12 vs 12 battles", "several game modes" ... seriously, I salute the effort for a F2P game, but when the ancestor it had to kill in order to exist already did it with 10 times more freedom, it feels kind of…
I love Current Value :) Listening to his work quite often on DarkDNB channel on di.fm.
We frenchies are definitely nuts with videogames. raises hand as another one who spent 5 whole years on developing a fighting game on his own
(same name as my nickname, if interested)
btw, storytellers should really start to think about replacing dubstep with drum 'n bass. Some DNB tunes are really fit to such ambiences.
The de-constructed look of the robots, the singularity / conscience pitch, the transhumanist design ... they all scream a big, loud, "make a Ghost in the Shell movie with these guys". That was awesome.
