Recommended your post just to highlight the fact that Irrational Games is one of the few, if not the only game studio that stayed alive for so long (since 1997 !). Plus, they never sold out on their vision. Ken Levine is definitely a big name in this industry.

It's all about belonging to the action, by supporting someone you feel as close as you could be if it was you over there. Transposition, if you prefer. You can't play it, so you find the person matching your playstyle the best, to let you imagine being at his place.

Seems like you were searching for a pure shooter à-la Call of Duty. Infinite was all about the storytelling. Shooting was just a bridge. Also, Infinite was all about Elizabeth, so if you didn't care about her like you mentionned, you just didn't care about the whole game. Conclusion : it was not a game for you, just

Both of you made great points, gentlemen ;) You both totally nailed what I was trying to point at in those two last posts, with great words. Thanks.

Awesome insight, to which I agree totally. This part sums up what tickles me :

Dat feel .... Same here :)

Obligatory soundtrack for the picture :

Well, reading your reply made me reinstall it too :p

I believe ME will become the next Deus Ex :

Someone, please make it a GIF where the ground is burning charcoal :D

Now I got a reason to buy the Occulus Rift ! Mirror's Edge was already a fantastic, immersive experience (on PC only though), so I can't imagine how breathtaking it will be with OR.

Sad but truuuuuuuuuue ♪
