please retire the “*checks notes*” refrain. it’s overused and tired.

the black circle markers really disrupt the compositions. Or are they teleportation pads?

sleazy- douchey-looking guy turns out to actually be sleazy douche

i liked this movie but i don’t think it was spectacular. i think the most compelling part of the film was the character of the father and the motif of his smell. but many of the characterizations i felt were surface level and flat. not bad in the slightest, but living in nyc it feels very overhyped.

i remember the los angeles times published a profile on him after the election referring to him as dapper, along with some stylish albeit cringe-y fedora-dork photos. white liberal media is a joke.

sorry to break it to you but they’re all old. and the one’s who are not are not great

i think you might be the cynical one here

i really want people to stop saying “glide path” i might barf

watch the polish movie The Lure—that might help

yay jezebel having a meltdown over their queen hillary

as a current employee in a huge publishing company, i will say that it is filled with boring white women with boring haircuts with no interest in anything different or new.

bye bye planet and all the people who keep having counterproductive ideas!

he SSSuuuuuuuuuxxxxxxxx!!!

i am so unimpressed by him. his line deliveries are so flat; they completely lack in intonation. he’s just tall and golden. he’ll also be starring in the remake of Rebecca which pisses me off so much.

i love the NYFF. Tickets can be pricey, but the films Lincoln selects are so good. A couple I saw at last year’s truly captivated me. In particular was Happy as Lazaro, which I still think about—what a movie. Hoping to see Parasite, Liberté and Sibyl. Unfortunately missed out on Pain and Glory.

very dispiriting. i have to refrain from shamelessly fawning over adorably cute designer mix dogs because—even though they are innocent and did i mention unbelievably adorable—i don’t want to validate their owner’s decision to acquire one and to perpetuate the designer mix dog industry. adopt a dog you fuck.

EEEEEEeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

it is SUCH a good movie. i knew nothing of it going into it, so the whole sequence revealing the twist sent me over a cliff. it was disturbing and hilarious.

“forget the white working class”...yeah sounds like a losing strategy to me
