Thank you. I can cook awesomely, but I cannot bake to save my life. Apparently this is because I experiment so much and toss stuff in while I'm cooking, whereas baking is an exact science. And yet, everyone assumes because I can cook that I must be awesome at baking too.

Is "food insecure" some new term, or do I live under a rock? I give money to the Second Harvest Food Bank, especially in the summer. There are a bunch of local billboards that call out how some kids don't get to eat lunch when they don't go to school, and that's horrifying :(

Sensitive, my ASS. The shimmer strips contain corn starch, and corn is becoming increasingly common as an allergen. I'm incredibly allergic, and if I even touch packaging that has been dusted with a corn derivative (as many are), I break out in hives.
