I enjoyed Code Vein for a bit, as it was scratching my Dark Souls itch, but at a certain point I couldn’t figure out where to go next, and really didn’t feel like spending more time googling what to do than actually doing it. Is it worth finishing?

Don’t forget ‘Soulslike’
I use my One X to stream HBO Max, cuz the Series X is smart enough to know that I’m using my parents’ HBO subscription and won’t let me log in even though I have the password. It knows my cable provider and that I don’t have an HBO subscription with that provider. Bastards.
Yeah I’m trying to turn everybody I know onto it, but so far nobody has Showtime...
Yeah there was a moment there when I thought maybe Angela even shot Harrison since he had the gun trained on Dexter. And yes, I also thought we’d learn Harrison killed Hannah. Oh well.
I think the oil tycoon’s part was just to add a bit of mystery, like he could’ve been the killer, until they predictably revealed it to be Kurt. But yeah, in hindsight it seems like a waste of time.
I missed one the other day, but I had the last 4 letters with DRANK, then guessed PRANK and FRANK, but it was CRANK. That was my first loss.
That’s a horrible choice, I use SLATE
Hades is such a blast. I think it might be the only game for which I’ve gotten all of the achievements, and then just kept playing anyway. Although I’m almost grateful there’s no achievement for beating it on 32 heat for that last Skelly trophy, since I’m stuck at around 12-17 heat on each weapon. Such a great game!
I gave up on F5 once I got the achievement for discovering all roads. Tuning cars seemed to overwhelming for me.
I thought I’d never grow tired of Hades, but I’m up to 13-17 heat on each weapon aspect and I’ve really hit a wall. I’ve already maxed all weapons and keepsakes, and gotten all achievements, although there weren’t that many to begin with. Seems like it’s just cosmetic stuff with the contractor from here on out. Weird…
Yeah but everyone should listen to George Clooney’s take from his podcast interview on WTF with Marc Maron. Basically he says every time you handle a gun on set you verify with whoever you’re in the scene with that the gun is not loaded, and don’t trust what anybody says. He’d never even heard ‘cold gun’ as a term,…
You can’t mention Matchstick Men and leave out Sam Rockwell!
But Raised by Wolves was awful, and I really wanted to like it.
Bernthal did his best to upstage Smith in this, and it pretty much paid off in every scene they shared. Never seen him act like that before, it was hilarious!
Don’t forget about The Outsiders! Tom Cruise, Matt Dillon, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estivez, Ralph Macchio, and the star, C. Thomas Howell... Oh! and Diane Lane! Damn, Even Tom Waits made an appearance, I’m gonna have to rewatch now.
Dude, GamePass is the best deal in gaming, and it’ll save your progress between consoles. I never would’ve tried F5, but it’s free and I’m really enjoying it. I have no idea what I’m doing most of the time, but just driving around and ticking off races and signs is a lot of fun. Tuning is way over my head tho...
About tuning... I’ll readily admit I know nothing about cars IRL aside from how to drive them and fill up the gas tank, so I become immediately lost when I open up the tuning menu. I have no clue where to begin or how to tell if any changes I made actually improve how a car drives. So I leave it alone, but then I feel…
Yeah I’ll be the first to admit that while some of Goliath’s courtroom hijinks, especially in season 4, were a bit batshit and hard to believe, it didn’t take much away from how great the rest of the show was.
Whoa there. Goliath is great, what are you on about??
